In the period of October 21-23, Republic boxing tournament among young men dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was hold in Astana. More than 300 boxers from Karaganda, Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Astana and Akmola region took part in it.

The pupils of the boxing unit of the SMSE CTC "Zhiger" won 10 medals of various denominations. The gold medals were won by Dzhamberbayev Almaz, Baymurat Sultan, Orazbai Azamat, Baydaulet Aisultan, Temirzhan Ibrahim. Kabysh Nursultan and Zhusupov Alisher won the silver medals. Tuleubekov Nurilla, Suleimenov Temirlan and Beisembayev Mansur won the bronze medals and the third place.
