Students in grades 10of the School-Lyceum №20 visited the Regional Historical and Local History G. N. Potanin Museum. During the excursion, the students got acquainted with the museum’s exhibits, which are more than 70 thousand exhibits, which are based on archaeological, paleontological, ethnographic, numismatic photographs and documents, as well as objects of natural scientific, industrial purposes and weapons. Particularly interesting was the students in the hall of paleontology, where the guide told the children about the ancient history of Kazakhstan, about the unique exhibits of the museum: tools of MalaysaryBatyr, which the descendants presented to the museum. The exhibition was very useful for students. Such events contribute to the education of patriotism in the younger generation, the formation of historical consciousness and culture.
