Today, there are about forty ethnic Kazakh families living in the United Kingdom.
They always celebrate national holidays, dress in traditional costumes, prepare food and, most importantly, do not forget their native language. The Kazakh girl's costume consists of a dress and a camsole with a long flared skirt. The image is complemented by "Takiya" - a high headdress decorated with a fur trim or swan down. Another headdress is saukele, which was worn during the wedding ceremony. Also, women complemented their costume with jewelry, which differ depending on the age and marital status of a person.
