Bright holiday Nauryz as a day of peace and good has always been marked by noisy festivities, competitions in various sports disciplines and art, as well as abundant food. The festive table set on this day had to contain a ritual dish, usually made of meat. Thus, the Kazakhs have such a treat is "Nauryz kozhe", which symbolizes the seven elements of life necessary for a person. Now "Nauryz kozhe" includes: meat and fat, water and salt, flour and cereals, as well as milk. This dish was supposed to give a special power to all who ate it, and the big pot in which "Nauryz kozhe" is prepared symbolizes unity.
