On February 14, on the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the Withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, an event dedicated to this date was held in the 9th and 10th grades. This event was attended by an internationalist warrior, a veteran of the Afghan war, a reserve officer Sergei Viktorovich Emelyanov, one of the authors of the songs “Blue Splashed” and “Memory”. Sergei Viktorovich told the children about four and a half years of service in Afghanistan and the hardships of the war, about how he came to the military profession and about the modern army.
